Well, I expected something glorious and that is exactly what I received. Every component chosen for MY PERSONAL jacket is outstanding. I only wear non-murder clothing (no leather or silk) and it's sometimes challenging to find incredibly styled clothing that is animal-ethically/friendly. I've only worn MY PERSONAL jacket twice and both times people come over to tell me what a beautiful jacket it is. And they are so correct. I haven't yet tried it with the red wing capes removed because I love catching that flash of red out of the corner of my eyes. If you've been fence-sitting about purchasing, jump off that fence and get your own personal Onyx Hafu jacket. You will not be be disappointed. (However, you WILL be disappointed if they all sell out and you missed the Hanfu boat.)

It took awhile to arrive but it was well worth the wait. The material is think and the clasps are nice and heavy. It even came in it’s own bag. Definitely will be buying from them again!

I was going in with the lowest expectations since their advertisement looked AI generated and got surprised! The jacket is well made, the seams are clean, and the front clasps add a nice touch to the overall look and feel. should've gone for L size, but M is also ok if you're 1.70m tall

I really like design of onyx hanfu, contemporary yet slightly traditional chinese silouette. Little details on it are of good quality and I wear this hanfu almost every day since I got it. It goes with everything and it gives that one interesting element to my outfits. It is very comfortable to wear it and four pockets that jacket contains are perfect size, I can put my phone and other things in them while maintaining silouette in the same shape, also the way of how jacket closes is great because I can easily put things inside pockets that are inside the jacket without need to open jacket. The ability to remove red part of the jacket is also unbeliveable and I like that I have that posibility if I don't want it to be on jacket.

I absolutely love the jacket I purchased from Hannovae. The quality is beautiful — the stitching is neat, the buttons are gorgeous, and the overall craftsmanship really stands out. It fits me perfectly in the shoulders, waist, and chest, and the structure of the jacket is very flattering. The only challenge I noticed is around the hip area. While the rest of the jacket fits perfectly, it’s quite tight at the hips and takes a bit of effort for me to close the button there, so I’m usually more comfortable wearing it slightly open. Perhaps this is because the cut is designed more for the East Asian market. If the brand ever explores fits that consider the South Asian body type as well, I think it would resonate with a lot of customers here. That said, it’s still a beautiful piece and I genuinely love the design and quality. Looking forward to seeing more from Hannovae.
